Do you want to play in clay? Do you want to get your hands dirty? Throwing clay is like no other experience. You just gotta come try it! These lessons are meant to give people (14yrs old+) a try at throwing (making on the potter's wheel). See box below for more details.

About The Event
Throwing clay is like no other experience. You just gotta come try it! These lessons are meant to give people (14 yr olds+) a try at handbuilding and throwing (making on the potter's wheel) and we can set up further lessons if you love it. Our goal is that you will have at least one plate made with the first lesson. Lessons are $38 per 1.5 hours, and DON'T INCLUDE the cost of clay, glaze or firings. Each plate that you make will cost $6 for clay, glaze and firing fees. There are only 2 spots per session, so if you want to learn, don't hesitate to sign up as they fill fast. So, TRIM YOUR NAILS, wear old clothes, show up 5 MINUTES before your time slot and get ready to get muddy! Let me emphasize... Having long nails will hinder your learning extremely! Please trim them to not be in the way.
*Please note to complete a plate, you will need to come back a second time (within 2 weeks) to glaze your plate(s)- no extra cost as it is included in the $6 fee.
