6wk clay Example listing- read on for more info

I will offer this type of class again at the beginning of 2024. The holidays are just too busy to have 6wks consecutively available. Email me to get on the list!

Each week we will learn a new form while practicing throwing techniques.  It is a knowledge, but it is also a skill that comes from practice.  As a beginning 6-wk pottery throwing class we will attempt to make these forms...

2 cereal bowls

2 serving bowls (smallish but bigger than cereal bowls)

2 plates

1 Chip 'n' Dip server (open interpretation and a taste of handbuilding)

2 mugs (takes 2 sessions as we learn how to attach handles and trim pots)

I teach wheel throwing classes on Sundays. The class times offered are 11am, 1:30pm, 4pm, or 6:30pm

The class is $300 total per person.

$150 is due @ signup (after I make a schedule and a specific listing for you)

$150 (the remainder) is due by second week of class thru me directly.  This includes all clay, glazes and firing fees for what is made in class.

I only allow 2 people per class, so you will have the opportunity to really learn! No classroom with 10 people getting lost in the mud!

Attendance is mandatory for the classes. Due to my tight schedule there is no room for make-up classes. If you have to miss a class, what I will give  is a (one time) offering- 3-4lbs of clay and a 1.5 hr block for you to practice one of the lessons you have already attended. Because really, throwing is all about the practice!
