About The Event
In this series, you will learn how to design, piece, press, layer, baste, quilt, bind, and label a quilt from start to finish, along with many other tips and tricks about quilting and sewing in general.
You do not need to be an expert in sewing to take this class. However, we do ask that you have a sewing machine that is in good working order and that you are comfortable and familiar with its features; that you can thread the machine, wind and load the bobbin, and can sew in a (mostly) straight line, following a seam allowance.
Price includes instruction, white fabric, and batting. Students will need to bring their machine, basic sewing supplies, and will need to purchase the contrasting pre-cut fabric of their choice. (More details about that will be emailed once you register for the class).
Instructor Bio: Andra Walker lives in Johnson City with her husband, son, Beagle, and fluffy cat. She loves to sew, and enjoys teaching others. She has two patterns published in national magazines - the Winter 2018 issue of Easy Quilts; and the Spring 2019 issue of Quilts and More.
