







Intermediate Ceramics Series: Surface Decoration & Finishing
This series runs by demand and is scheduled once minimum enrollment is reached.
Level: Advanced Beginner / Intermediate
Schedule: Normally held on Monday or Wednesday evenings from 6-8pm, whichever day is the best fit for the most students.

Series Overview:
This intermediate workshop series is designed for potters who are confident with basic throwing techniques and want to refine their surface decoration and finishing skills.
Small class sizes ensure individualized instruction, demonstrations, and plenty of time for questions.

We will walk through each of the four distinct steps in creating pieces with surface decoration. Students will create 3-5 finished pieces by the end of the course. Course price includes materials (clay and glaze) and firing fees.
Week 1: Throwing on the Wheel
Week 2: Trimming and Refining
Week 3: Carving Techniques or Underglaze Transfers
Week 4: Mastering Brush-On Glazes​
