Description:
Refined trimming and finishing can transform a good pot into a great one. This workshop is dedicated to improving foot rings, balance, and overall craftsmanship of wheel-thrown pieces.
​
Students will learn trimming strategies for different forms, how to correct minor throwing flaws, and how to use tools such as the Giffin Grip for more efficient and precise results. Emphasis will be placed on proportion, weight, and clean finishing details.

Perfect For: Potters who are comfortable throwing and want to elevate the finish and professionalism of their work.

What to Bring: Up to 3 leather-hard, untrimmed wheel-thrown pieces
Included: Use of studio wheels and trimming tools including the Giffin Grip
